Setup Requirements

The hirer is responsible for ensuring the following:

• Access to a 240V power supply within 20 meters of the setup location.

• The setup area is clear of debris, sharp objects, or obstacles that could damage the equipment or create hazards.

• The setup area is on a flat, level surface, such as grass or concrete, with no steep inclines or slopes.

• Adequate space is available around the equipment for safe operation and supervision.

4. Operating Guidelines

To ensure safe and proper use, the hirer must provide a responsible adult (18+) to supervise the equipment at all times and follow these guidelines:

Safety Rules

• Ensure all users remove shoes, food, drinks, jewellery, glasses, and sharp objects before entering the inflatable.

• Do not allow climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls, netting, or external parts of the inflatable.

• Prohibit somersaults, wrestling, pushing, or rough play on the inflatable.

• Maintain a safe distance from flammable materials, smoking, and barbecues at all times.

• Do not allow users to overcrowd the inflatable. Always follow the maximum occupancy limit provided in the instructions.

• Animals are not permitted on or near the inflatable.

• Ensure users are grouped by similar age and size to prevent injury from collisions.

Age and Weight Restrictions

Some inflatables have specific age or weight limits. Always refer to the instructions provided with each castle for these restrictions and enforce them.

Weather Conditions

• Do not use the inflatable in winds exceeding 20 km/h.

• Stop usage immediately if it begins to rain or if the surface becomes wet. Resume only when the inflatable is thoroughly dry to prevent slipping hazards.

• In hot weather, check the surface temperature of the inflatable regularly to avoid burns, especially for young children.

Blower Malfunctions - If the blower stops working:

1. Ensure all users exit the inflatable immediately.

2. Check the blower and power connections for obstructions, loose plugs, or issues.

3. Do not attempt repairs yourself; contact us if the problem persists.

General Supervision Tips

• Ensure the inflatable is not used by anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

• Regularly inspect the inflatable for signs of wear, damage, or deflation during use. Stop use immediately if any issues are detected.

• Ensure users do not flip or jump onto others when entering or exiting the inflatable.

• Create a clear zone of at least 1 meter around the inflatable where no objects or obstacles are present.

By adhering to these expanded guidelines, you can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants while protecting the equipment.

5. Care, Maintenance, and Return Policy

To ensure the equipment remains in top condition for future use, the following policies apply:

Cleanliness

• The hirer must return all equipment in a clean, dry, and well-maintained condition.

• If the equipment is returned dirty, muddy, or stained, a cleaning fee of up to $100 may be charged, which will be deducted from the security bond.

Damage and Repairs

• The hirer is responsible for any damage that occurs during the hire period.

• Minor damages requiring repair will incur a $100 repair fee.

• Lost or severely damaged accessories, such as manuals, mallets, or tarps, may result in additional replacement fees.

Wet Equipment

• Equipment, including the inflatable, blower, and any additional components, must be returned dry.

• If any items are returned wet, a $100 drying fee will be charged to cover the necessary cleaning and drying process.

Inspection Upon Return

• All equipment will be inspected upon return. If significant damage or excessive dirt is found, additional fees may apply.

• The hirer will be notified of any issues and associated costs within 24 hours of the return.

Preventive Care Guidelines

To avoid additional fees, please ensure:

• The equipment is not used in muddy or wet areas, especially during unfavourable weather conditions.

• Accessories and smaller components are kept together and returned in the same condition as provided.
