Q: How do I book a bouncy castle?
A: Booking is simple! Use the “Appointment” feature on our website or contact us directly. We’ll confirm availability and handle the rest to make your event a success.
Pricing & Costs
Q: Are there any hidden costs?
A: No hidden costs! Our pricing is clear and transparent, making it easy to plan your budget.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit and debit cards through our online booking form. Full payment is required in advance to confirm your booking.
Q: Is there a bond required?
A: Yes, a $100 bond is required. It will be fully refunded the week after the event, as long as the equipment is returned in good condition and without any issues.
Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date and castle.
Q: What if I need to cancel my booking?
A: You can cancel your booking. Please contact us to learn more about our cancellation policy and refund terms.
Delivery & Setup
Q: Do you provide delivery, setup, and removal?
A: We prefer that you pick up your order, but for an additional fee, we can handle delivery, setup, and removal, allowing you to focus on enjoying your event.
Q: What areas do you deliver to?
A: We currently service Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty region only. Let us know your location, and we’ll ensure a smooth and seamless delivery experience.
Q: When can I pick up the bouncy castle, and when should it be returned?
A: Pickup is available the evening before or morning of your event, and returns are due by the morning after. Please contact us for specific timing.
Q: Can the bouncy castle be used indoors?
A: Yes! Our bouncy castles can be set up indoors as long as the venue meets the required space and height specifications.
Rental Details
Q: How long is the rental period?
A: Our standard rental covers a full day of fun. If you need the castle for longer, contact us to discuss extended hire options.
Q: What happens if it rains on the day of my event?
A: We offer flexible rescheduling options and will work with you to find the best solution.
Q: What if strong winds or bad weather arise during the event?
A: For safety reasons, bouncy castles should not be used in winds exceeding 24 km/h or during heavy rain. Please follow setup instructions and guidelines provided.

Q: Are the bouncy castles suitable for older kids or adults?
A: Our bouncy castles are specifically designed for children aged 3–7 years, ensuring safe and engaging fun for your little ones.
Q: Maximum number of children allowed in the bouncy castle at one time:
A: A maximum of 5 kids can use the bouncy castle at once to ensure safety.
Q: How much space do I need for a bouncy castle?
A: Each bouncy castle requires a flat, open space. Contact us for specific dimensions and advice based on your venue.
Q: Is a power source required?
A: Yes, a standard power outlet is needed to operate the bouncy castle. If no power is available, we can provide a generator for an additional fee.

A: Absolutely! Safety is our top priority. Our castles include secure mesh sides, soft entry points, and anchoring systems to ensure stability.
Q: Do you provide safety guidelines?

Q: What types of events can your bouncy castles be used for?
A: Our bouncy castles are ideal for birthday parties and small gatherings for children under 8 years old. We offer a variety of sizes and themes to suit your needs. Please note, they are not suitable for public events.
Q: What if my space is limited?
A: No problem! We have bouncy castles in various sizes to fit different spaces, whether it’s a small backyard or a large park.
Insurance & Liability
Q: Is there any insurance coverage for the rental?
A: While we take every precaution to ensure safety, we recommend that you check with your event insurance provider if additional coverage is needed.
Q: What happens if the bouncy castle gets damaged during the rental period?
A: If damage occurs due to misuse or negligence, repair or replacement costs may apply. Please ensure proper supervision at all times.
Q: Do you provide supervision for the bouncy castle during the event?
A: Supervision is the sole responsibility of the hirer. Kiwi Hoppers is not liable for incidents or issues arising during your private event.
